Question by RB: How much of a percentage of my current income is needed in retirement?
I make about 0,000 right now. 52 years old with net worth of 1.2 million. Not married, no dependents.
Am I really going to need 80% of my pre-retirement income?
If so, I’ll need to save more or retire later. And I save more money than most people!

that is something that only you can determine . It all depends on what you want to do in retirement . If you want to buy a million dollar mansion have dozens of maids fancy cars you can spend your 1.2 million in a week. however if you want to sit at home in a tiny apt watching tv eating kraft dinner you can be assured you have enough. make a list of what you want to do in retirement find out the cost add inflation see if you have enough
